PERMIT PROCESS
TOD development applications may require additional review by the DPP Director and/or City Council, depending on the nature of the project. In large part, the TOD Special District regulations are designed to avoid this additional review if projects can comply with the regulations or are not seeking bonuses. Each TOD permit option is represented by the timelines below.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A: The IPD-T and PD-T permits require City Council approval by resolution. The other permits are approved by the DPP Director.
A: Yes, after the City Council approves the IPD-T or PD-T permit, the applicant must then submit a TOD Special District-Major permit, which follows an abbreviated timeline.
