TOD PERFORMANCE MEASURES

The City is developing performance measures to track progress and the long-term impacts of its TOD program. The metrics are intended to provide a means to evaluate what is working, to improve decision making, and to communicate the value of TOD. Five guiding principles were identified for the TOD corridor, representing the desired outcomes for TOD on Oahu:

A: The performance measures are undergoing thorough review to ensure the best data sources, in terms of availability and accuracy. Once complete, the data will be available dating back to 2016, which will serve as the baseline measurement since that is when the first TOD zoning and special district were established.

 

A: Reporting on designated performance measures is a way to show the effectiveness and benefits of the TOD program activities. Furthermore, we encourage this data to be utilized by interested parties to further analyze TOD impacts.

 

A: The performance measures identified on this page are considered the initial core measures. However, should new data be identified, it will be incorporated.
