Resident of Old Ewa and father of a JCHS student, Alex has served on ENB#23 for eight years and is currently Vice Chair. As one of the more active board members, he works to ensure community priorities are clearly communicated to City and State agencies and translated into tangible improvements. He focuses on parks, transportation, and equity issues tied to quality of life. He serves out of a commitment to informed community advocacy, not political ambition. He holds a PhD in marine biology.
