  The project plans to mitigate speeding on Kilauea Avenue by reconfigure t
 he beginning and end of Kilauea Avenue. They will reconfigure the lane fro
 m a double lane to a single lane\, adding buffer bike lanes and center tur
 n lane\, and removing street parking. The Projects design phase is still o

 iologist Jake Reichard from the State of Hawai‘i Division of Aquatic Res
 ources (DAR) provided a presentation on the proposed expansion of the Maun
 alua Bay Artificial reef site. The existing Maunalua Bay Artificial reef i
 s located 1.5 miles offshore of Kahala Beach\, 77-117 feet depth\, approxi
 mately 74 acres\, and were created in 1961. The objective of this project 
 is to expand the existing Manual Bay Artificial reef to 70-100 ft\, deploy
  2\,200 Concrete Z Modules\, and to enhance fishing opportunities for the 
 fishing community.  They will continue doing outreach to the Neighborhood
  Boards and Fisher Huis and expected that all permits be granted between t
