Planning, Zoning & Environment (PZ&E) Committee
June 2025 Meeting Report
Chair, Donna Wong

1. A committee meeting was held in-person on June 17, 2025, chaired by Donna Wong and attended by committee members Levani Lipton, Steve Trecker, and Gary Weller.

2. Kalaheo Hillside residents gave an update on the recent clearing by Geolabs along the Kalaheo Hillside 10-acre parcel. They are concerned that removing vegetation without incorporating any storm water runoff mitigation measures leaves their homes vulnerable to storm water runoff. The committee did not take any action.

3. The City Department of Design and Construction is proposing improvements to the municipal parking lot including assessment of the trees. The committee will follow up on what the impacts to the existing trees will be, if any.
