 n-person on August 8\, 2024\, chaired by Travis Counsell and attended by c
 ommittee members Bill Hicks and Carol Miyashiro\, KNB members Evan Weber a
 nd Josiah Akau\, and resident Helen Walker.\n\n2. An announcement was made
  that the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization was seeking comments for
  the long range plan\, ORTP 2050.\n\n3. Continuing issues were discussed\,
  including:\na. Following up with DTS regarding Lanikai Traffic Management
  Plan\nb. Roundabout construction has restarted after a summer pause\nc. F
 ollowing up with DTS regarding stop light at McDonald's and the status. La
 st noted it would be installed by the end of this year.\n\n4. New Issues i
 ncluded:\na. Speed humps discussion on Kawainui St.\nb. Requesting Kailua
