Department of the Medical Examiner

The Honolulu Department of the Medical Examiner publishes annual statistical reports to provide transparency about our activities, findings, and performance. Each report includes key data such as total case notifications, jurisdiction-accepted cases, procedures performed (for example, full autopsies, external examinations), manner of death breakdowns (natural, accident, suicide, homicide, undetermined), and other relevant operational statistics.

These reports are intended to help the public, policymakers, and partner agencies better understand the scope and nature of our work in serving the people of the City and County of Honolulu.
