Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall to open with limited hours Friday for Hapalua Expo

HONOLULU — The City and County of Honolulu announced Thursday evening that the Neal S. Blaisdell Center’s Exhibition Hall will open with limited hours on Friday to accommodate runners who are participating in the Hapalua half marathon on Sunday.

The exhibition hall will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday for the Hapalua Expo and runner packet pick-up. The exhibition hall is expected to be open for regular operating hours on Saturday, with the Hapalua Expo taking place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Participants are asked to plan accordingly, allow extra time for travel to and from the Blaisdell complex, and to stay safe during a period of expected severe weather.

Other non-essential City offices will be closed on Friday due to the storms, including the City’s Driver’s Licensing Centers, Satellite City Hall locations, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and the Honolulu Zoo.
