HONOLULU — The Honolulu Zoo announced that it will reopen to the public on Monday, March 16, after a temporary closure due to severe weather conditions that impacted Oahu over the past week.
The closure was necessary to allow zoo staff to assess and address storm-related impacts on the grounds and ensure the safety of all the animals.
Guests visiting the zoo can expect normal operating hours. The Honolulu Zoo advises guests to be aware that some areas are under maintenance as final cleanup efforts continue.
