HONOLULU – Members of the Hawai‘i Bicycling League (HBL) and the American Public Works Association, Hawaiʻi Chapter (APWA) will replace damaged and missing traffic delineators along the protected bike lanes along Pensacola and South streets on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The groups will be working on Pensacola Street between the freeway and Kapiʻolani Boulevard, and on South Street between King Street and Pohukaina Street during the service event.

The project will be performed under the coordination of the City’s Mālama O Ka ‘Āina community volunteer program, which is administered by the Department of Facility Maintenance, Division of Road Maintenance (DRM). Additional support will be provided by the City’s Department of Transportation Services and Complete Streets Program.

The HBL’s mission is to encourage and enable more people to ride bicycles for health, recreation, and transportation. For more information on HBL and the many other events it organizes throughout the year, please visit https://hbl.org/.
