HONOLULU — The City and County of Honolulu is continuing its large-scale efforts to clear and transport debris and other remnants from the Kona low storms. The City is also continuing its wide outreach to the community through support programs and resources as Oʻahu enters week two of recovery.
Community Assistance Center (CAC)
Those affected by the Kona low storms have been visiting the Community Assistance Center for support and resources. So far, 167 households have been helped and more are expected to come this week. Services at the CAC include: Medical assistance, replacement of vital records, replacement of driver’s licenses and state IDs, housing assistance and case management, and disaster assistance information.
The CAC is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is available at Waialua District Park
with additional parking at Waialua Elementary School on weekends only. Visitors are advised to follow posted signage for parking and shuttle information.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Starting today, a free mobile outreach medical clinic will be available for storm-impacted residents at the CAC. The clinic is operated by the City and County of Honolulu, in partnership with the University of Hawai‘i’s John A. Burns School of Medicine and its Hawai‘i H.O.M.E. (Homeless Outreach & Medical Education) Project.
The clinic provides free medical assessments and treatment from doctors, paramedics and other medical workers from Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
7-Day Pass HOLO Cards
7-day HOLO cards will be available for affected Waialua residents who need alternate transportation around Oʻahu. HOLO cards can be found at the Department of Community Services (DCS) booth located at the CAC. Note that there is a limited supply and is only available to affected Waialua residents.
OneOahu.Org
The City and County of Honolulu today launched OneOahu.org, a centralized website serving as the hub for all storm recovery information following the recent Kona low event. The site features critical resources, debris removal updates, community resources and important contacts for residents impacted by the storm.
The website will be continuously updated as recovery efforts progress and additional services become available. Residents are encouraged to check the site regularly for the latest information.

Additional Support From Other Agencies
Members from the Kauai Emergency Management Agency, South Carolina State Fire, and Palmetto Incident Support Team will be arriving on Oʻahu this week to assist staff in the City’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC). More details regarding their support efforts will be shared in the coming days.
