Upon receiving the assignment, the Licensing Investigator will:
Notify the applicant of the start of the investigation
Conduct the investigation, to include reviewing and/or requesting any additional information or documentation to clarify the applicant’s submission.
Conduct site inspection(s) of the proposed licensed premises
Interview the applicant
Conduct criminal history background checks
Compile and submit a report of the investigation and findings
Note: Licensing Investigators are assigned various other types of liquor license applications and requests that require investigation. The number of applications assigned to each Licensing Investigator identifies only New and Transfer applications.
