(Blue / Purple Liquor Card)

Definition:  The designated person duly registered with the Commission as a manager or assistant manager who is in active charge of the licensed premises during the time the establishment is licensed to sell or serve liquor.  (§3-80-1.1)
 
 
Blue Manager card required for the following Liquor License classes:
 
    • Class 2:  Restaurant (“R” Licenses)
    • Class 5:  Dispenser (“E” Licenses)
    • Class 6:  Club (“F” Licenses)
    • Class 8:  Transient Vessel – Annual (“M” Licenses)
    • Class 9:  Tour/Cruise Vessel (“J” Licenses)
    • Class 11:  Cabaret (“I” Licenses)
    • Class 12:  Hotel (“L” Licenses)
    • Class 13b:  Caterer – Food Service Business (“Q” Licenses)
    • Class 14:  Brewpub (“B” Licenses)
    • Class 15:  Condo/Hotel (“Z” Licenses)
    • Class 16:  Winery (“W” Licenses)
    • Class 17:  BYOB (“Y” Licenses)
    • Class 18:  Small Craft Producer Pub (“S” Licenses)
Purple Manager card required for the following Liquor License class:
    • Class 4:  Retail (“D” Licenses)
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Minimum age:  21 years
  2. Successfully passing the Honolulu Liquor Commission’s Server Training course.   To register for a server training class, go to our Event Calendar.
    Server Training certification valid for 4 years.  
  3. Manager Authorization Letter
  4. $10 per liquor card
  5. If first liquor card, proof of Social Security Number.  (See Liquor Card webpage)
