Kahala Community Park – [0:35:54]: Resident Pennell thanked Councilmember Waters office for adding bathroom gates to Kahala Community Park, request to change the park times, and to have more wind-resistant trash bins around the park.
Wheelies – [0:39:56]: Resident Pennell raised concerns about Kalani High School using Moa Street to do wheelies.
Sony Open – [0:42:38]: Resident Pennell raised concerns regarding the traffic on Moa Street caused by the yearly Sony Open.

Neighborhood Commission Office – Three Absence Letter Notification: Board Member Peter Dudgeon – [1:09:03]: The NA provided an explanation of the process of three absences, and Member Dudgeon provided his explanation. No action was taken by the Board
Department of Environmental Services (ENV) – Sewer Fee Increases – [1:10:46]: Director Michael Keith provided information regarding the increase of sewer fees. Environmental Services (ENV) will be increasing their fees due to the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project on Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant in order for the facility to meet regulatory requirements and to prepare for potential climate change/sea level rise. The CIP will costs 10.1 billion dollars between 2025 and 2040. Fees will increase 9% per year for six years beginning on July 1, 2025.
