37th Annual Talk Story Festival: Fashion Forward!
Hear behind-the-scene stories, and experience a fun focus on fashion, as part of the 37th Annual Talk Story Festival! You are welcome to this free educational event scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Memorial Auditorium located at 550 S. King Street.
Enjoy runway displays and a panel discussion with some of the islands’ most influential designers!
As Hawai‘i’s oldest and largest storytelling celebration, this event honors the tradition of perpetuating Hawaiian culture and heritage through oral history. In its 36 years of existence, the festival has been presented in many locations and adapted to the times, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the storytelling sessions from the 32nd and 33rd Annual Talk Story Festivals remain available to everyone around the world through our DPR social media platforms.
