a. Committee to review the letter draft to be sent to each school principal inviting them to send a school representative to attend our monthly committee meetings to share school announcements, concerns, initiatives, etc.
b. How can we increase committee members, including ʻōpio (youth)/haumāna (students) involvement? Next steps/assignments.

i. September 5, 2025 – Football vs Waiʻanae High School (past)
ii. September 13, 2025 – School Agroforestry Planting Events! Use QR code to register.
iii. Homecoming Parade on Nānākuli Ave: Thursday, October 16, 2025, 4:00-5:00 PM. Homecoming Game vs Aiea: Friday, October 17, 2025
c. Nānākuli Elementary School – Campus Beautification and Lā Māla ʻOhana, last Saturday of the month. (ongoing)
VII. NEXT EDUCATION COMMITTEE MEETING: Thursday, October 9, 2025, 6:30-8:00 PM
a. All meetings to be held on the second Thursday except for the month of June 2026.

i. If you are interested in sharing your organizationʻs request/announcement or your community concerns/announcements to this committee.

1. Organizations: Organizationʻs name, your name (other presenters) and title, project description/mission/etc., and purpose for attending the committee meeting. Come prepared with a slide presentation, handouts (at least 10 hard copies).
2. Community: Your name/others attending with you, where you reside, your community concern/announcement, purpose for attending the committee meeting. You are invited to bring photos, slides, handouts, etc. regarding your purpose for attending the committee meeting.
