Public Safety, Public Health, and Civil Defense (PSPHCD) Committee
May 2025 Meeting Report

1. A committee meeting was held in-person on May 15, 2025, chaired by Bill Hicks, and attended by committee members Jay Etzenbach, Levani Lipton, and Claudine Tomasa.

2. Continuing Issues were discussed including Kailua Water Quality and Disaster Preparedness Subcommittee updates, low flying helicopter flights, and hurricane shelters.

3. For the upcoming KNB term, the Homelessness in Kailua PSPHCD Subcommittee will meet quarterly, in August, November, February, and May.
