b. City and County of Honolulu and Hawaiʻi Foodbank are Partnering to Fight Against Hunger: Neighborhood Assistant Anson Wu will be collecting donated goods at the next Neighborhood Board meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Hauʻula Homestead Road Property [0:05:07]: Director Anton Krucky, Director Harold Brackeen, and Executive Director Sonia Davalos provided a presentation of a proposed temporary housing for families on the Hauʻula Homestead Road Property. In partnership with the City & County, the State and Corazon Hawaii Inc. the proposed project will offer’s family assessment center, housing navigation, housing retention, and rapid rehousing and homeless prevention.

Kūpa’a Kuilima – [1:34:31]: Jessica Dos Santos provided a presentation regarding the organization Kūpa’a Kuilima. The presentation highlighted the following: information about Kūpa’a Kuilima; background information on the Turtle Bay Development; the organization’s concerns regarding the Turtle Bay Development; and their goal is to withdraw the 2022 determination and initiate the process for an updated SEIS and SMA, renegotiate a community benefits package, and update the 1986 Unilateral Agreement (UA). Kūpa’a Kuilima requests that the Koʻolauloa Neighborhood Board make a motion to write a public letter to support Kūpa’a Kuilima petition to pause the development activities at the Turtle Bay Resort.
