United States Army – [0:18:33]: Jared Simmons provided the report and highlighted the following: a hiring fair on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Aliamanu Military Reservation gym from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; United States Army Garrison published its Training Advisory; invites the public to attend the Waikīkī Holiday Parade on Friday, November 29, 2024; and Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony on December 7, 2024 at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center at 7:45 a.m. and another ceremony at Fort DeRussy from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Turtle Bay Development – Arete Collective – [1:56:44]: Rebecca Buchan provided a presentation for the proposed development project at Turtle Bay. The presentation highlighted the following: the currently authorized units at Turtle Bay; a timeline of Arete honoring existing entitlements & agreements, the project following Koʻolauloa Sustainable Communities Plan; information on phase one of the project; project benefits such as dune restoration and job security; and a list of contributions Arete has provided to the Koʻolauloa community.

Bill 64 – Wind Turbine language amendments – [3:01:16]: Sunny Unga asked the Koʻolauloa Neighborhood board to support the Kahuku Community Association testimony to the Bill 64 Wind Turbine amendment hearing on the November 21, 2024 and Council meeting on December 11, 2024. The amendments to Bill 64 are to have the wind turbine setbacks at a distance of 1.25 miles, no grandfathering clause, and cap the maximum height of the wind turbines to 568 feet.
