Members Present: Harris Nakamoto, Claire Santos, Chuck Lee, Nathan Char, and Nancy Depiculozuane.
Members Absent: Bronson Silva, Ian Ross, and Kahanu Chan.

1. Call to Order at 2:00 pm
2. Approval of 6/30/25 Meeting Minutes: APPROVED
3. Committee Concerns from Previous Meeting
a. Bill 7 Amendments Update and Discussion, Chuck Lee shared that changes within the City Council now has CM Tupola as head of the Housing Committee.
4. Follow-up Items
a. Tipsy Pig II concerns, reckless driving & speeding, noise. Observation scheduled for Friday, 7/4/25 and 7/11/25, and both evenings were quiet. We will remove from agenda, and allow Nancy Depiculozuane to work within her neighbors to address any further concerns with contacts/resources we have shared.
b. Punchbowl Perimeter, Fire Hazards, Homeless Encampments, Illegal Dumping. Awaiting response from Governors Rep, Russell Pang in reference to DHHL and DLNR. Will move this topic to full board agenda.
c. Resilience Hub. Awaiting word from Honolulu Museum of Art staff on Community Hub event.
5. Resident and Community Concerns not listed on the agenda
a. Makiki Park concerns with runners practicing on field with community walkers and dog owners. Follow-up done on July 18 and 19 following July 17th board meeting. Also, arranged for CM Nishimoto to meet with community on Monday, July 21st at 5 pm. Nathan Char to organize a separate meeting on the subject of Makiki Park. Tentative for August 14th, 5:30 pm at Old Makiki Park Library 2nd Floor.
6. Next Meeting: Monday, August 25, 2025, 2 PM online via WebEx and in-person location to be at Hawaii State House Representative Kim Coco Iwamoto’s office at the Hawaii State Capitol Room 327 (415 South Beretania, Honolulu, HI 96813)
