Waikiki Business Improvement District Association (WBIDA) Waikiki Update/Safe and Sound Update – [1:53:26]: Trevor Abarzua and City Prosecutor Steve Alm provided a presentation regarding the quarterly updates on the Waikiki Safe and Sound program. Their presentation highlighted the following: crime statistics in Waikiki in the timeframe of September 6, 2022 through September 4, 2024, the decrease of the homeless count from 251 on September 2022 and 183 as of October 2024, Outreach & Community Partnerships in Quarter 3, and the program’s vision for year 3.
