| Non-Residential Pesticides. These are pesticides that are used by a business, government agency, church, school, property management, or any other non-residential entity. A business that uses pesticides at a client’s home is still considered non-residential. | Hazardous waste generated by a non-residential source, such as pesticides, must dispose of that waste per the Hawaii State Department of Health (DoH) regulations. Those regulations say you must contact a hazardous waste disposal company to ensure the waste is disposed of properly. Alternatively, the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity does have drop-off events for canceled, suspended, unwanted, and unlabeled pesticides and pesticidal wastes.
