FLUORESCENT TUBES/BULBS

Material	Disposal Method
Fluorescent Tubes/CFL’s (compact fluorescent lights)	Residents have two options for disposal: Drop off CFL bulbs at Home Depot’s recycling drop boxes (no tubes); schedule an appointment to drop off CFL bulbs/tubes at the city’s Household Hazardous Waste events.
“LED” Fixture lights	Put in the trash for disposal.
Ballasts	If the label on the ballast is blank or missing, assuming it contains PCB, please schedule an HHW appointment. Ballasts made after 1978 are labeled “No PCBs” and are safe to dispose with the trash.
