Elibibility
CARES Program Eligibility. To be eligible for the program, a customer must:
- Be a current Sewer Utility Customer of the City & County of Honolulu.
- The customer must be solely financially responsible for the account; they cannot receive sewer service assistance payments from any other organizations.
- Be classified as a “Residential” customer.
- The customer may claim only one (1) credit of up to $240 for their calendar year 2025 principal residence.
- Meet Income Limits based on 80% of Median Income (as published by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
