All City refuse convenience centers closed in response to severe weather

HONOLULU – In response to severe weather impacting O’ahu, the City and County of Honolulu Department of Environmental Services (ENV) will be closing all convenience centers from Friday, March 13 through Saturday, March 14.

This closure is being implemented to ensure public safety and to allow for centers to operate at full capacity following severe weather across Oʻahu. Any additional closures or changes to operations will be announced as conditions are reassessed.

Transfer stations will remain open during this time.

Regular curbside refuse collection will continue as scheduled. Gray, blue and green cart pick-up will not be impacted at this time.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to stay informed by signing up for HNL Alert, the City’s official emergency notification system.
