The HOLO card is your TheHandi-Van ID and Honolulu’s electronic transit payment card. Add money to your HOLO card to pay for your rides on TheHandi-Van, TheBus, and Skyline. You may also buy a pass for TheBus and Skyline.
Q: Can I still pay with cash or prepaid tickets on TheHandi-Van?

Q: Can I use TheHandi-Van HOLO Card to pay for my TheHandi-Van Taxi rides?
A:
No. Third-party providers, including taxis, only accept cash and TheHandi-Van tickets.
Q: I have a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) and/or service animal (SA). Should my TheHandi-Van HOLO card display this information and do they need a separate HOLO card to be able to ride with me?
A:
No. Your TheHandi-Van HOLO card does not need to display “PCA” or “SA.” Your PCA does NOT need a separate HOLO card to ride with you.
Q: Can I pay for my companions with my TheHandi-Van HOLO Card?
A:
No. Each rider over the age of five (5) needs their own HOLO card.
Q: How can I add funds to my TheHandi-Van HOLO Card?

Q: What must I do if I also have a Senior, Disability, Medicare or Youth HOLO Card?
