Riding Skyline is quick and easy — whether it’s your first rail trip or part of your daily commute.

1. Get a HOLO Card
You’ll need a valid HOLO card with funds.

  • Purchase or reload cards at HOLO vending kiosks near the station entrances.

2. Tap to Enter
At the fare gates, tap your HOLO card on the reader to enter.

  • A single tap gives you access to board the next train.

3. Family and Accessibility
Families with children 5 and under should use the wider ADA fare gates located at the ends.

  • Walk your child through first after tapping, then follow right behind.

  • Station operators are available if you need help.

4. Transfers
Your fare includes a 2.5-hour transfer window, so you can board a bus or return train without paying again during that period.
