HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Transportation Services (DTS) announces that it will temporarily extend operating hours for Skyline operations on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., to accommodate the Aloha to Aloha Stadium event.
The event will feature performances by local musicians as the community gathers to celebrate and bid farewell to nearly five decades of memories at Aloha Stadium before its planned demolition. Doors open at 4 p.m., with festivities continuing until 10 p.m. In coordination with the recent opening of Skyline Segment 2 on October 16, which expanded daily train service to 10:30 p.m., DTS will extend service by an additional hour to 11:30 p.m. to help ensure all attendees can return home safely after the event.
Riders wishing to take Skyline to the Aloha to Aloha Stadium event will be able to utilize the park-and-rides at the following stations:
Keoneʻae UH West Oʻahu Station: 304 parking stalls available at the park-and-ride
Honouliuli Hoʻopili Station: 344 parking stalls available at the park-and-ride
Kahauiki Kalihi Transit Center Station: 95 parking stalls available at the park-and-ride
Please note: No concert parking is available at the Hālawa Aloha Stadium Skyline station. Parking at Hālawa Station is reserved for transit users destined away from Aloha Stadium.
The last train leaving Hālawa Aloha Stadium Station headed EASTBOUND to Kahauiki Kalihi Transit Center leaves at 11:22 p.m. The last train leaving Hālawa Aloha Stadium Station headed WESTBOUND to Kualakaʻi East Kapolei Station leaves at 11:12 p.m. Riders are encouraged not to wait for the last trains.
From 4 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., trains arrive at each station every 10 minutes.
From 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., train arrive at each station every 15 minutes.
Skyline does not allow eating or drinking on the trains or in stations.
