We were thrilled to continue hosting the Hawai‘i Pacific University’s Women’s Soccer Team, as they began their season at Waipi‘o Soccer Complex in August 2026 (pictured right). Go Sharks!
The fields underwent recent renovations by staff from the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Parks and Recreation, including: seeding, fertilizing, aerating, and verticutting along with an entire complex closure for maintenance in June 2026.
The University of Hawai‘i Women’s Soccer Team will play all of their 2026 season at their on-campus field in Mānoa.
The Waipiʻo Soccer Complex is the first and only soccer facility of its kind in the State of Hawaiʻi with 21 regulation fields, including a 5,000-seat stadium with lights for evening events. The 288-acre complex is designed to serve the tens of thousands of soccer players in Hawai‘i, while hosting local and international tournaments.
The complex is also used to raise revenues by attracting soccer teams from the Continental U.S. and around the world to practice or sponsor tournaments at the facility. The Waipiʻo Soccer Stadium is also the home field for the University of Hawaiʻi Women’s Soccer Team. Local high school soccer championship games are also held at the stadium.
In fact, the complex hosts approximately 1,153 teams each yea, with about a dozen annual tournaments & large events and over 25,500 approximate attendees
