Civil Engineering Permits
The Civil Engineering Branch reviews, issues, and inspects projects for for grading, stockpiling, and grubbing permit requirements as well as for trenching or excavation within the City and County of Honolulu rights-of-way. Other activity requiring review and approval by the Civil Engineering Branch includes private drain connections, driveway and sidewalk variance requests, and surface encroachment authorization requests.
