Instant Online Permit

Instant online permits are permissible if  your property and scope of work qualify. Work is limited to  scope of work selected and the permit may be subject to revocation for any deviation from the scope of work.

Note: A MM# (Materials and Methods Number) may be required.

Do I Qualify?

If  you are able to land on one of the dark green spaces, you wil be able to obtain an Instant Online Permit. Otherwise, you will need to submit a Building Permit with plans.

For any item with an asterisk (*), see notes below.

Verify if your property is in a flood zone. If the flood zone indicated is anything other than D, X, or XS, the property is located in the flood zone. 

Verify if your property has an advisory or warning. See the second tab labeled “Warnings” for any advisories or warnings on the property.

Verify your property zoning (LUO). At the bottom of the parcel info tab, you will be able to find what your parcel is zoned for.

Estimated value of work can be no more than $75,000.

 

How It Works:

Provide all required information and fees.

Step 2: Print Issued Permit
Permit will be issued instantly at the end of the application process.
Step 3: Inspection
Begin work and call for all requried inspections.
Step 4: Close Permit
After work is complete, ensure that the inspector closes the permit.
