Update to TMK Warnings and Advisories Affecting Instant Online Permits
As of February 2, 2023, DPP has recently updated the Warnings and Advisories on a parcel that may deny all instant online building permits. If you have submitted an instant online building permit and recieved an denial due to an advisory or warning, please resubmit as the restriction may have been adjusted to allow your application. If you have submitted an eplans application due to a previous denial and are still in the queue, please email eplans@honolulu.gov to cancel your permit with plans for the same work.
Revised Warnings
Ewa Imapact Fee: As Instant Online Permits do not add any units (Residential) or floor area (Commercial), this warning has been revised to allow for any Instant Online Permit to be obtained.
Revised Advisories
Based on the reason an advisory was placed on a parcel, DPP has updated the advisory to either deny all Instant Online Permits, allow any Instant Online Permit or allow only Solar Instant Online Permits. (For example if there is a Fence Master Plan advisory, it will only allow Solar Instant Online Permits)
