Clean Energy
In an effort to streamline the permitting process and reduce the backlog, DPP is offering an expedited permitting process for qualifying building permit applications for clean energy projects solar PV or solar water heater installation primarily at townhomes, battery or EV charger installation projects in accordance to ROH Section 18-5-10. Eligible projects are limited to 20KW systems.
Eligible Clean Energy Projects for Townhomes are:
- Solar PV System, Building Integrated Solar PV with an Energy Storage System, and Energy Storage System
- Solar Thermal or Solar Electric Hot Water Heating
- Electric Vehicle Charging Station
