Applications are now open for Kaleimaʻo Village in ʻEwa Beach
Kaleimaʻo Village is a new affordable rental community located in ʻEwa Beach, Hawaii. The project will include 126 available units across seven residential buildings, plus a community center. The community is currently under construction, with first units projected for occupancy in October 2026 and full occupancy targeted by April 30, 2027.
New Clean Water and Natural Lands website now live
The City and County of Honolulu Department of Housing and Land Management is excited to announce the launch of CWNL.org, a new website dedicated to the City’s Clean Water and Natural Lands program and its work to protect wai and ʻāina across Oʻahu.

Clean Water and Natural Lands team briefs City Council on conservation efforts
The presentation highlighted the CWNL program’s growing portfolio of protected lands, partnerships with agricultural and conservation organizations, and efforts to preserve important agricultural, cultural and natural resources for future generations. To date, the City has protected approximately 1,460 acres through the CWNL Fund, with additional conservation projects moving through the acquisition process.

Demolition marks next step in redevelopment of former Dee Lite Bakery site
Located at 1907 Eluwene St., directly across from the future Mokauea (Kalihi) Skyline Station, the site is being developed as part of the Blangiardi administration’s housing strategy to activate transit-oriented development areas along the Skyline rail corridor.
