This position performs advanced professional work involving acquisitions, negotiated dispositions, public-private partnerships, affordable housing initiatives, and other high-profile City projects. Responsibilities include evaluating real properties for development feasibility, reviewing appraisals, pro formas, and financial assessments, and overseeing the negotiation and preparation of purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, escrow materials, and other transactional documents. The Planner V works closely with City leadership, consultants, developers, title and escrow companies, government agencies, and community stakeholders to support the successful implementation of City initiatives.
