How to apply
Applications for Kaleimaʻo Village are now being accepted. Interested households can review eligibility requirements and download the application packet through the Kaleimaʻo Village website.
Completed applications must be received or postmarked by September 30, 2026. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis based on a completed and approved application file.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the application instructions and required documentation before submitting their packet to help avoid delays. Section 8 vouchers are accepted.
About Kaleimaʻo Village
Kaleimaʻo Village will offer apartments at the 30% and 60% area median income (AMI) levels, with current monthly rents ranging from $698 to $2,099, depending on unit size and income level. The first units are projected to be ready for occupancy beginning in October 2026.
A new website, Kaleimao.com, is also now live, providing prospective residents with floor plans, current rents, household income limits, community information and application materials.
Kaleimaʻo Village is currently under construction on 3.7 acres of City-owned land in ʻEwa Beach. The approximately $78 million development is being delivered through a public-private partnership with Komohale West Loch LLC, a joint venture between Stanford Carr Development and Standard Communities.
The City is supporting the project through a 75-year ground lease and nearly $30.4 million in tax-exempt Private Activity Bonds (PABs) to help finance construction and support long-term affordability.
Once complete, the community will include 127 total units, including 126 affordable rentals available to income-qualified households, across seven residential buildings. Residents will also have access to a community center with a community room, kitchen, laundry facilities and other support spaces, along with landscaped open areas and on-site parking.
Construction continues to move forward, with the first residents expected to begin moving in this fall and full occupancy targeted by April 2027.
