Building projects at Waimānalo Beach Park
Overview
The City is committed to enhancing facilities at Waimānalo Beach Park to support recreation and community needs. Improvements are necessary due to the deterioration or removal of previous facilities caused by age, weather, and vandalism.
Proposed Capital Improvement Projects
- Pavilion replacement: The original pavilion was built in 1959, closed in 2017, and demolished in 2019. The new pavilion will be modeled after the former pavilion.
- Replacement of two comfort stations: Draft plans were developed from the input gathered from the January 2025 community meeting
