      Long Range Development Plan, UH-Manoa  -- placed on hold by UH Chancellor

      Charter Commission.  See www.honolulu.gov/chc/ for full text and ballot questions.

  1. Legislative ideas - Bring before the Board tonight for submission to Committees for action at the November  meeting.

  4.  Stream Status.

           a. Ala Wai Canal.  For details see Beachwalk Emergency Bypass

           b. Hausten Ditch.  Report completed, no action due to cost.

           c. Makiki Stream.  Clean Up to be held, Saturday October 21st, Feb. 10,

                                        April 14, August 11 and October 20

                                       City & County continues to remove silt beyond Fern St.

           d. Manoa Stream.City & County removing vegetation & silt by Old Waialae

                                       Road and Kaimuki High School

           e. Palolo Stream. Rainy season, no clean up scheduled

  5. Neighborhood Commission Report.  Meeting of Sept 25th gave a October 23rd

                                       deadline for Revised neighborhood Plan to be delivered and

                                       start the acceptance and review process.

                                       Clean Up to be held Thursday, November 30th at KHS

  E. *Honolulu Charter Proposed Amendments.  Board to review and make recommendations on any proposed amendments.  See above Presentation for website.

                         #3:   Land conservation and affordable housing funds.  January 5, 2006 McCully - Moiliili N.B.# 8 passed a Resolution in support of this

                         #7:  No Council rejection of Salary Commission

                        

 

 

#8:  Pedestrian and bicycle friendly Honolulu: Bikeways.  Resolution in support by R. Lockwood for     Kevin Killeen (neighbor)

                        #9:  Liquor Administration exempt from civil service

                       #10: Services of the Emergency Services Director and Fire Chief

                       #11: Extended time for capital funds

                       #12: Additional electronic notice and bookkeeping amendments
