KAHALU'U NEIGHBORHOOD BOARD

 

REGULAR MEETING AGENDA

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2007

KEY PROJECT, 47- 200 WAIHEE ROAD

7:00 P.M.

 

 

Please note that the Board’s quorum (at least half of Board members) must be present for the meeting to start, including hearing the reports of Public Safety Agencies. All Neighborhood Boards must post the meeting as cancelled if quorum is not attained within a reasonable time.

 

The Chair before proceeding must recognize any Board member or guest

desiring to speak before the Board.

 It is kindly requested that individuals with cell phones turn phone to

vibrate mode  or off while the meeting is in progress.

 

 

1.               CALL TO ORDER BY CHAIR GEORGE OKUDA

A.         “Smoke Free Workplace Law” – How will the State enforce this new law, and how can we as neighbors support the State’s efforts (law requires no smoking signs, and no smoking within 20 feet of neighbors) – Daniel Bender (10 minutes)

     9.                ANNOUNCEMENTS

·         Neighborhood Board Elections deadline for candidate filing is Tuesday, January 16, 2007 by 4:30 p.m., Neighborhood Commission office or postmarked January 16, 2007.

·         Next Board Meeting will be February 14, 2007, KEY Project, 47-400 Waihee Road, at 7:00 p.m.

·         Agenda item requests must be directed to the neighborhood assistant two weeks prior to the Board’s meeting. The neighborhood assistant will then send the draft agenda to Chair Okuda for finalization.
