THURSDAY JUNE 14, 2007

 

ANYONE WISHING TO SPEAK MUST BE FIRST RECOGNIZED BY THE CHAIR. EACH SPEAKER WILL BE ALLOWED THREE MINUTES. THE RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. THE BOARD ALSO PRACTICES CIVIL DISCOURSE AND SPEAKERS WHO STRAY FROM CIVILITY WILL BE CALLED OUT OF ORDER. IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUNSHINE LAW AND ROBERT’S RULES OF ORDER THE CHAIR, IN THE INTEREST OF MEETING EFFICIENCY, MAY LIMIT THE NUMBER OF TIMES A PERSON MAY SPEAK ON ANY ONE AGENDA ITEM.

A.     Oath of Office. - All board members are required to take the oath of office and cannot be seated until doing so.

B.    Training – Sunshine Law:  The Revised Ordinances of Honolulu require that all board members have sunshine law training every two years.  If you did not attend the training on June 2nd, please attend the training scheduled for: To be announced at a later date.
