A.          Visits to military facilities

    1) Request NCTAMS PAC visit for December 2, 2006

                        2) Postpone request to visit Schofield Barracks until January 2007

                        3) Board members invited to Pearl Harbor Christmas Boat Tours, December 15, 16, 17, 2006          

B.          Location of Community Signs at entrances to Wahiawa and Whitmore Village Sign

C.          Installation restroom at Kanakahi Park at Whitmore Village

D.          Establish ad hoc committee to meet with City and State transportation departments on improving ingress and egress at north and south entrances of Wahiawa

 

XIV.      ANNOUNCEMENTS

A.                  The Wahiawa Neighborhood Board No. 26 will recess in December.

B.                  The next Wahiawa Neighborhood Board No. 26 meeting will be held on Monday, January 22, 2007, Wahiawa Recreation Center, 7:00 p.m.

C.                  The next Committee of the Whole meeting will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007, Wahiawa Recreation Center, 6:30 p.m. Agenda items are: 1) Re-designation to Wahiawa-Whitmore Neighborhood Board; 2) Collaboration with WAI and WCBA on maintenance of Wilson Bridge, H-1 rail lights, No parking on Kamehameha Highway during peak commuter hours, and restriping of Kamehameha Highway segment into Wahiawa; 3) Drafting of agenda for January 22, 2007 Regular Meeting

D.                  Invitations will be extended to WAI and WCBA to attend the COTW meeting on January 8, 2007

E.                  A special meeting may be called regarding speeding on California Avenue and Dole Street. The City Department of Transportation Services and HPD District 2 Commander will be invited to attend
