MAYOR’S STATEMENT ON THE LATE FORMER U.S. SEN. HIRAM L. FONG

            Mayor Jeremy Harris issued the following statement today regarding the death of former U.S. Senator Hiram L. Fong:

            “Ramona and I will miss him very much and send our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Fong and the Fong Family. Over the years I have grown to admire and respect Senator Fong. He was an extraordinary man who led an amazing life. I considered him a valued friend and will miss his humor, insight and advice.”
