 PEAK HOUR EXPRESS BUS SERVICE TO BE RESTORED

            Cheryl Soon, Director of Transportation Services, announced today that service on peak hour express routes will be restored on Monday, October 13, 2003 to the levels they were before the service cuts that were implemented in June.

            TheBus will be adding service to the following routes:  80 Hawaii Kai Park & Ride, 80A Hawaii Kai Park & Ride – UH, 81 Waipahu, 82 Hawaii Kai Park & Ride – Kalama, 83 Wahiawa, 84 Mililani Express – South, 84A Mililani Express – North, 85 Windward Express – Kailua, 85A Windward Express – Haiku, 87 Aloha Stadium, 90 Pearl City, 91 Ewa Beach, 92 Makakilo City, 93 Waianae Coast, 97 Village Park, 98 Wahiawa – Mililani Park & Ride, 101 Ewa Gentry, and 102 Villages of Kapolei.

            Flyers for the new service are being handed out on the buses and are available on TheBus website in the Routes and Schedules section.
