 MAYOR ISSUES STATEMENT ON FEDERAL TRO AGAINST BRT

          Mayor Jeremy Harris responded today to ATI’s request in federal court for a TRO to stop construction of the initial operating segment of Bus Rapid Transit from Iwilei to Waikiki.

             “For 35 years, a small group of nay-sayers has stopped every effort the City has undertaken to reduce traffic congestion on this island.

             “It’s time we move forward with the first phase of these express electric buses.”
