FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HONOLULU CITY LIGHTS WILL REBROADCAST ON TELEVISION
If you missed seeing the Honolulu City Lights’ Electric Light Parade on opening night, you can see the highlights on a one-hour special airing Sunday, December 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. on KHON-2. The special will focus on the Electric Light Parade, hosted by Emme Tomimang and Brickwood Galuteria, plus the tree lighting ceremony and the holiday concert produced by Tom Moffatt. The Honolulu City Lights special, produced by Honolulu Municipal Television, is made possible by parade sponsors Hawaiian Electric Company, the Friends of Honolulu City Lights and the City and County of Honolulu. HMTV has also produced three separate specials on opening night which will air together on Olelo: Channel 55 from December 24 through December 27 as follows: December 25 6 p.m. – Tree lighting ceremony 6:30 p.m. – Electric Light Parade 7:30 p.m. – Holiday Concert December 26 1 p.m. – Tree lighting ceremony 1:30 p.m. – Electric Light Parade 2:30 p.m. – Holiday Concert December 27 10 a.m. – Tree lighting ceremony 11:30 a.m. - Holiday Concert A one-hour special featuring highlights of opening night will also run in place of the Mayor’s Report on Olelo: Channel 54 at 7 p.m. on December 25 and on January 1. -30- |
