Special Use of Parks

The following is a list of special activities which are allowed only in designated City parks:

For easy identification, the parks are categorized by districts:

    District I - Hawaii Kai to McCully,
    District II - Makiki to Aiea,
    District III - Pearl City to Waianae and Wahiawa, and
    District IV - Waialua to Waimanalo.

Park activities not identified on this list shall be those activities which relate to recreation and do not endanger the health, safety and welfare of park users. Parks users who expect a large group should call the Park Permit Section at 523-4525 for information.

Camping is allowed by permit at the following City and County of Honolulu beach parks. Please call (808) 523-4525 for current information regarding camping permit applications.
