McCully - Moiliili Neighborhood Board # 8 McCully Mo'ili'ili Neighborhood Board #8 Regular Meeting Agenda Thursday, August 6, 2009 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m. RULES OF SPEAKING: Anyone wishing to speak must raise their hand; and after recognition address their comments to the Chair. Comments must relate to the pending agenda item. Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under one (1) minute, and those giving reports are encouraged to keep their reports less than three (3) minutes. Please silence all electronic devices. Presentations will begin at 7:30 p.m. NOTES: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS, Chapter 92) specific issues not listed on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless properly added to the agenda. Only two (2) turns to speak, including Board members, of one (1) minute each. All times listed are for time management and are not to be considered as absolutes. I. Peter Faulkner, Mike Powell, Wolf Lavine Change in classification to Category 2 Live Music/Entertainment Graduate Practicum Results. Prof. Minerbi's class will present their findings from their Mo'ili'ili study. VII. HOUSEKEEPING (3 Minutes) for information only of material that arrived after the agenda deadline or is for information only A. Report on OMPO Meeting of 15 July B. Report on Neighborhood Commission special meeting of 27 August C. 40th Anniversary of the McCully Mo'ili'ili Library will be celebrated in November of 2009. Public Safety & Legislative Affairs Chairs: DeVilbiss Issues include, but not limited to: HPD, HFD, and Emergency Management Packages, Elderly drivers, Pedestrian Safety, Street signs, Aging in Place, Street repairs, safe routes to school C. Planning, Zoning & Transportation Chair Carlos Issues include: Transit Oriented Development, public condemnation for private concern, bicycle master plan, neighborhood master plan D. Schools & Community Outreach Chair Kyi-Yim. Issues Include: UH Manoa Long Range Development Plan, Early Childhood Education, Discover Mo'ili'ili Day participation Committee chairs meet monthly to discuss items for the agenda in a Permitted Interactive Group XIII.
