Executive Committee of the Kailua Neighborhood Board No 31

Tuesday, July 28, 2009, 8:30 a.m.

46 Hoolai St, Kailua, Agnes’ Bakery

Present: Linda Ure, Secretary

Absent: Jon Chinen, Vice Chair, Debbi Glanstein, Treasurer, Chuck Prentiss, Chair,

Guest: Jim Corcoran

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. by Board Secretary.

Note: Secretary was notified that Board Vice-Chair was unable to attend due to work schedule and Board Treasurer would not attend the meeting.

Draft Agenda was not available for the meeting.

Corcoran was following up on the KMCBH presentation that was to be on the Board Agenda for August 6, 2009.

Ure brought a correction for Government & Community Services Report to the full Board that item 5 should read Neighborhood Commission.

Further motions to be brought before the Board for August 6^th could not be addressed at the meeting. 

There was concern that the Chair of the Board did not attend as the Executive Committee meeting was on the July Committee Agenda for July 28, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at Agnes Bakery in Kailua for: 1)  Administrative matters and Board procedures.

Non Demello, proprietor of Agnes’ Bakers stated the Board may hold a committee meeting in the establishment, except Mondays when the bakery is closed.  A letter will be prepared for Mr. Demello’s signature of permission. 

There being no further business the Executive Committee could address without the Draft Agenda, the meeting adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
