1.     Motion 1: The Kailua Neighborhood Board requests that the Department of Health take appropriate and timely action to notify affected residents and the public about the discovery of lead pellets on Kaimalino Beach, and to start remediation process without further delay.

2.     Motion 2: The Kailua Neighborhood Board requests the Department of Health to survey the residents of homes on and near Kaimalino Beach to determine whether a trend of illnesses/diseases relating to lead/arsenic poisoning exists.

 

B.     Government & Community Services Committee – Jon Chinen, Chair

Motion: Form Permitted Interaction Group: Proposed Legislation 2009-2010, to research, identify, and explore areas of legislative issues appropriate for consideration dealing with items lettered "i" through "vii" below.
