Note: The Board may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda.

1.       Status of community concerns raised in previous meetings pertaining to the U.S. Army and Lake Wilson – Lowery.

a.  Army

1.       What are Schofield’s plans regarding Ku Tree Reservoir?  If they are planning to breach the dam they must follow criteria cited in the November 2006 Army Corp of Engineering Report.

2.       Are the cement trucks going through Wahiawa coming over the old bridge or via Wilikina Drive?

3.       Is Schofield planning to build a road or buildings adjacent to the Kukaniloko Birthing Stones just off Kamehameha Highway?

 b.  Lake Wilson

1.       Lowering of the water level as a safety measure – is this being done short term while the gates are repaired or will the water level remain low permanently?

2.       What are the effects of lower water level on fish and the planned water park?

3.       Does the exposed lake bottom meet Federal Environmental Protection Agency criteria for contaminant exposure?

4.       Effluent discharge:  What is the status of the sewage treatment upgrade?  Does Schofield have plans to upgrade the level of effluent discharge into Kaukonahua Stream?
